50% theory & classroom learning
Discuss regulations, industry standards, company policies, and training manuals, followed by a written evaluation.
50% practical, hands-on training
Trainees will operate the machinery that they will use on a daily basis to perform tasks.
Rigorous testing of trainees
Each trainee will be tested for understanding of both theory and practical knowledge.
Worksite inspection
Our trainers identify of potential hazards (overhead power lines, drop-offs, pedestrian traffic, weather conditions, debris, etc.).
Pre-use inspection
Physical walk-around of equipment, and documentation of all parts and operation.
Comprehensive records
Employers receive all records of training, including all test materials, wall mount certificates, and employee wallet cards.

$200 plus GST per trainee, paid in advance

The RBS story
RBS Training’s Founder, Ryan Stoochnoff, was born in Castlegar, BC. After completing the Business
Administration Diploma program from Selkirk College, he moved to Lethbridge, AB., to attend the University of Lethbridge, where he obtained a Bachelor of Management Degree.
Ryan got his start in the training industry while working for a mobile equipment rental company. The company sent him to IVES Training Group in Surrey, BC to be trained as a trainer, to be able to train employees and customers. Ryan successfully trained over 60 trainees and the company again sent him to Ives for additional training. Upon his return to the rental company, Ryan & the manager disagreed about implementing safety procedures designed to improve the safety culture on site.
Their paths no longer aligned. Change was imminent.
With no clear path in sight, Ryan took some time to do some soul searching. During that period, he realized he needed to strike out on his own just as four generations of his family had done so. He had the drive, motivation & abilities to start his own company and be his own boss. Ryan founded his company, RBS Mobile Equipment Training Inc. in 2013.
Ryan attributes his success to his passion for helping companies and their employees operate safely and
efficiently.
